MonoSwap: Scammers impersonate VCs to trick developers into downloading phishing software

Odaily News MonoSwap disclosed the details of the phishing attack on the X platform, saying that a MonoSwap developer installed a web phishing application to join a call with a scammer posing as a VC. The attacker installed a botnet on the developers office PC, which had access to all MonoSwap-related wallets and contracts. The hacker then withdrew most of the pledged liquidity positions, causing damage to the protocol.
