Mt. Gox Trustee: Repayment has been made to some creditors in the form of BTC and BCH

Mt. Gox has announced that on July 5, 2024, the rehabilitation trustee, in accordance with the Rehabilitation Plan, made repayments to some of the rehabilitation creditors in Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash (BCH) through designated cryptocurrency exchanges and other means. Once the following conditions are met, repayments will be immediately made to other creditors: (i) confirmation of account validity and other matters; (ii) subscription intention for "Proxy Receipt Agreement" accepted by designated cryptocurrency exchanges or similar platforms; (iii) completion of discussions between trustee and designated platforms regarding repayment matters; (iv) confirmation that repayment can proceed safely. Creditors who meet these conditions are asked to wait patiently.
