Nasdaq, S&P 500 both continue to hit record highs
The Federal Reserve kept interest rates unchanged for the seventh consecutive time, with Powell saying it was not yet at the stage of announcing a date for a rate cut. The three major U.S. stock indexes closed mixed, with the Nasdaq up 1.53%, the SP 500 up 0.85%, and the Dow down 0.09%. Among them, the Nasdaq and the SP 500 both renewed their record highs. Most of the large technology stocks rose, Tesla, Nvidia rose more than 3%, Apple rose more than 2%, renewed record highs, the disk was up more than 6%, the total market capitalization of more than Microsoft; Microsoft rose more than 1%, Neflix, Google, Meta rose slightly; Amazon, Intel fell slightly.
