The Sui Foundation announces the successful deployment of the Mysticeti test network
The Sui Foundation announced the successful deployment of the Mysticeti test network. The team stated that this is a new consensus protocol that can reduce the consensus time on Sui by 80% to 390 milliseconds, making it the fastest consensus layer in the industry. Mysticeti was developed through in-depth research into Byzantine Fault Tolerance (BFT) consensus mechanisms and represents progress for Narwhal-Bullshark. Sui has launched a consensus algorithm in its main network. This enhanced feature optimizes resource use, reduces complexity for developers, and allows the Sui network to process tens of thousands of transactions per second with delays far less than one second.
