Bitcoin.org Domain Owner: US Bitcoin Self-custody May Be in Danger
The owner of the Bitcoin.org domain name, "Cobra," has warned of the dangers and limitations that may be faced by future self-hosted Bitcoin. Cobra believes that governments around the world, including the US government, may be preparing to fully ban self-hosted Bitcoin, which would mean that citizens would not be able to hold Bitcoin without an intermediary hosting service.
