Despite a decrease in 24-hour trading volume for both BTC and ETH futures, their open interest increased. In the past 24 hours, both BTC and ETH experienced more liquidations on short positions compared to long positions. While both cryptocurrencies have more long positions than short positions, BTC notably maintains a higher long/short ratio at 55.19%/44.81%, indicating a stronger bullish sentiment among traders.
Despite similar trends in open interest and liquidations, ETH futures had a lower funding rate at 0.0025% compared to BTC's 0.0034%, suggesting slightly less interest or leverage in ETH
futures trading compared to BTC futures.
