Ethereum Meme coin trader achieves 693 times return, sparking market attention
The current Meme coin craze on Solana (SOL) may be shifting back to its origin, the Ethereum (ETH) blockchain ecosystem. According to a transaction highlight from crypto analysis platform Lookonchain, one trader made a 69,300% profit in a single transaction, sparking a sense of profit return in the Ethereum ecosystem. As per the highlighted transaction, this whale turned $9,000 into $6.27 million within just one month, yielding 693 times returns. The traded Meme coin is called $APU; the trader bought 83.6 billion APU with 2.385 ETH from March 11th to March 24th. During this period, the price of Meme coins significantly increased bringing unprecedented profits for traders. According to on-chain data, this whale still holds most of these tokens showing confidence in Meme coins. Over the past year high gas fees on Ethereum have driven many traders away and Solana has become their preferred destination but now as Solana protocol faces issues due to heavy traffic congestion there's an overall increase in attraction towards Ethereum as traditional option for trading Meme coins.
