The three major U.S. indices closed collectively lower, with the Dow down 1.24%, the Nasdaq down 1.62%, and the S&P 500 down 1.45%, as popular tech stocks tumbled, with Nvidia, Tesla, and Meta dropping more than 2%, and Microsoft and Google dropping more than 1%.
