Despite Bitcoin (BTC) and Ether (ETH) futures displaying contrasting movements in their long/short ratios, they share similarities in other aspects. Notably, BTC futures tend to see an increase in long positions while ETH futures witness a rise in short positions. However, both BTC and ETH futures exhibit a similar pattern in terms of funding rates and open interest changes. Additionally, ETH long liquidations are nearly nine times higher than ETH short liquidations.
