Thai Prime Minister: Digital wallet plan will boost GDP growth by 1.2-1.6 percentage points
ChainCatcher news, Thailand’s Prime Minister said that the digital wallet plan will be consistent with fiscal discipline. The digital wallet initiative will boost GDP growth by 1.2-1.6 percentage points. Thailand will provide financial support for the digital wallet initiative through the national budget. Thailand will use 157 billion baht from the 2025 budget for digital wallets.
