Report: Two-thirds of EVM smart contract deployments year-to-date come from Optimism

According to a report by Flipside Crypto, 70% of EVM smart contract deployments this year have come from Optimism, with over 28.8 million EVMs deployed on the chain since January 1st. The report also states that for non-EVM smart contracts, Polygon and Binance Smart Chain (BSC) remain the most popular deployment chains. The uncategorized smart contracts, or those classified by Flipside Crypto as "other" smart contracts, are the most commonly deployed smart contracts to date, accounting for 93.8% of all observed on-chain smart contract deployments.
