Wormhole Announces Airdrop Enquiry Site, Will Airdrop 6.17% of W Tokens

Wormhole has published an airdrop inquiry website where users can check eligibility for the airdrop. The airdrop will allocate 6.17% (617,305,000) of W. A total of 397,704 wallet addresses will receive the airdrop, and the snapshots used to identify the recipients of this airdrop have been taken. According to Token Economics, the total supply of Wormhole tokens W is 10 billion, with an initial circulation of 1.8 billion, which will be distributed in ERC20 and SPL on five initial chains, Ethereum, Solana, Arbitrum, Optimism and Base, and tokens will be allocated to six main categories: guardian nodes, community and startup, Core Contributors, Ecosystem and Incubation, Strategic Network Participants, and Foundation Vault, of which 82% are initially locked and will be unlocked within four years.
