SBF changes lawyers ahead of sentencing negotiations
SBF appeared in court for the first time since being convicted of fraud and conspiracy last fall, to confirm that he has no objections to his new lawyer. His new chief lawyer is Mark Mukasey. His previous lawyers, Mark Cohen and Christian Everdell, will withdraw from his case.It is reported that the new lawyer is also the agent lawyer of Alex Mashinsky, former CEO of Celsius. The Department of Justice accused him of securities fraud, commodities fraud, and conspiring to manipulate the price of the company's token CEL. Mashinsky will be tried this fall.
