The on-chain prediction market Polymarket is betting on a 54 per cent chance of Donald Trump winning the US election, for which investors have poured almost $3.5 million, with incumbent President Joe Biden at 38 per cent, and Vivek Ramaswamy securing the third-highest total of more than $2.2 million in bets. Trading in the election winner's market is set to expire on 5 November 2024, on Election Day in the United States, it was announced.
