JPMorgan Chase CEO: What interesting is blockchain, not Bitcoin
ChainCatcher news, JPMorgan CEO stated in an interview with CNBC that Bitcoin is not interesting, while blockchain technology is interesting. They believe it is necessary to distinguish between useful cryptocurrencies for smart contracts and other useless cryptocurrencies. According to Jamie Dimon, Bitcoin belongs to the second category, which means it has no purpose.
Dimon stated that the only real use of Bitcoin is as a currency for illegal activities or transactions. However, at the same time, he also mentioned that he does not wish nor require a ban on using Bitcoin but rather advises against its use.
