On-chain analyst @ai_9684xtpa's monitoring data shows that a whale betting on the ETH/BTC exchange rate experienced a liquidation event at 2:30 in the early morning when the ETH/BTC exchange rate fell below 0.05 (dropping to as low as 0.4977), triggering a liquidation of 4210 ETH. The whale sold off 203.28 WBTC to repay debts, worth $9.26 million USD. Forced into liquidation, this whale then borrowed another 997 ETH through flash loans and proactively repaid 92 WBTC; currently, this whale still has an outstanding debt of 1,463 WBTC with a health factor of 1.02.
