Reuters, October 20 - Hasbro HAS.O raised its annual revenue forecast on Tuesday, betting that strong demand for its digital games (including Magic: The Gathering) will continue ahead of the key holiday shopping season.
The Play-Doh maker's digital gaming segment has grown for seven consecutive quarters, while rising sales of collectibles linked to Marvel, K-Pop's The Witcher, and Transformers have also boosted demand for its traditional toys.
In the third quarter, revenue in its Wizards of the Coast and digital gaming segment grew by 31% year-on-year, while the consumer products segment's revenue increased by 4% compared to the same period last year.
The toymaker expects its constant-currency revenue growth rate for fiscal 2026 to be between 7% and 9%, compared to its previous forecast of 5% to 7%.
According to data compiled by London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG), the company reported revenue of $1.6 billion for the quarter, above analysts' average estimate of $1.48 billion.
