The First Student Workshop Held in Baku as Part of the Blockchain4Youth Initiative

Bitget, a leading cryptocurrency exchange and Web3 company, hosted its first workshop for students and faculty of Baku Engineering University as part of its global educational initiative, Blockchain4Youth. The speaker at the event was Vugar Usizade, COO of Bitget. Over 200 attendees participated in the workshop, including students from technical majors, university faculty, media representatives, and opinion leaders.

“This is the first workshop we’ve held for students in technical fields. However, we plan to expand our educational initiatives in Azerbaijan and have already announced a hackathon for developers with a prize pool of $3,000,” said Vugar Usizade.
During the workshop, the speaker highlighted the advantages of working with Bitget, the use of blockchain technology, and the opportunities available to students through the Blockchain4Youth initiative. Each student can join the initiative to gain not only additional knowledge about blockchain and cryptocurrencies but also the chance to intern at Bitget—an excellent starting point for a career in the industry.

In addition, experienced developers are invited to take part in Bitget’s hackathon and present their projects to a panel of judges, who will select the most interesting, useful, and innovative entries. The total prize pool will be distributed as follows:
1st place – $1,5002nd place – $1,0003rd place – $500
To participate in the hackathon, applicants must submit a registration form . The winners will be announced on May 17 during the blockchain conference in Baku.
