Australian Energy Market Operator: In the three months to the end of September, the average natural gas generation in the National Electricity Market was 881 megawatts, marking the lowest third-quarter level since 2000. The share of coal-fired power in total electricity generation fell to 52.2%, while the share of renewable energy reached 44.3%, setting a record high.
