According to Nikkei News, Scott DeBoer, Chief Technology and Product Officer of Micron Technology (MU.US), stated that the company has been evaluating 4F² storage technology for more than 20 years but currently has no plans to adopt it. Micron will continue to advance its existing technology roadmap and focus on developing next-generation 3DDRAM. He believes that 4F² technology is more complex, more costly, and offers limited practical advantages, whereas 3DDRAM holds greater development potential.
