The Indian Minister of Shipping revealed that, on October 16 local time, the oil tanker MT ST 3, carrying 15 Indian seafarers, was hit by a shell attack in the Strait of Hormuz region. This incident occurred in the Strait of Hormuz, a critically important global oil transportation route. So far, no organization has publicly claimed responsibility for this attack, and further details are yet to be disclosed.
